Ever wondered how that smartwatch on your wrist works or those crazy light up shoes? Me too?! This workshop looks at simple tools you can use to explore the exciting world of wearable technology. Come along and, if you haven't already, sign up for the CSER MOOC...then, use Design Thinking and some of the freely available equipment in the CSER Lending Library to make a stepometer and a light up "something or other". Consider the many opportunities exploring wearables can open up for our future thinkerers, makers, social entrepreneurs and designers. (Equipment used includes Microbits and LilyPad electronics)
