Center for Learning is a part of the Educational Department in Children and Young People, Aarhus.

Here we focus on learning and teaching resources for schools, daycare and leisure and youth. Our overall goal is that all children and young people in the municipality get the best prerequisites for well-being and learning.

We try to achieve this by assessing and quality assurance of both digital and analogue learning resources, inspiring the development of new forms of teaching, organizing courses for teachers and educators, promoting knowledge sharing internally within the organization and advising schools and institutions on the choice of learning materials and working methods.

Think of Aarhus as a major city crammed into a mega village. Being a university city, Aarhus is the youngest in Denmark measured by average age, but historically one of the oldest.
