As educators, we assume that getting to know your students seems to be a natural occurrence that transpires throughout the school year. Too often, for a myriad of reasons, teachers are unable to put in the time necessary to truly get to know their students. My talk centers around providing a framework to understand each student, and how to best provide impactful pedagogy to empower today's learner.
