Best Practices in Distance Learning: Communicating and Feedback 
Clear communication and authentic collaboration have never been more important. We’ll dig into best practices, strategies, and tools to better help San Gabriel Unified teachers communicate and collaborate in an online environment. We’ll overview a curated shortlist of ideas to address challenges and get hands-on with a couple of strategies/tools you can use for feedback as well.  Focus tools will include Google Forms, Google Classroom and other digital assessment tools.

Best Practices - Keeping Students Engaged for Distance Learning 
Keeping students engaged during distance learning is important.  Come to this session to learn about how San Gabriel Unified teachers can create engaging learning experiences - asynchronous and synchronous for distance learning.  We'll explore live classroom meetings with Googel Meet, ways to deliver content to keep learning engaging (EdPuzzle, Screencasting) and ways that students can show what they know using digital tools (Adobe Spark and Flipgrid).  This is a fast paced session that will give you lots of ideas to use with students for distance learning.

Using Google Forms for Distance Learning 202-  A Google Form is a simple data collection tool...or is it? While it is simple and user-friendly, the possibilities are endless for use in you San Gabriel Unified classroom! We will go over creating questions and sections, quiz mode, setting up a choose-your-own-adventure form, using data validation, and common settings and add-ons to truly get the most out of Forms in your daily work!  We'll show you tons of ways to use Google Forms in a Distance Learning Classroom.
