Sketchnoting, or visual note-taking, is gaining widespread popularity as an effective and engaging way to take notes and display student learning. Participants will learn how to establish a doodling culture in class with various fun and scaffolded drawing activities throughout the day. They will also learn about the elements of sketchnoting and how to get over the “But I’m not an artist!” mentality. This is a hands-on session, so come prepared to draw, either on paper or in a digital fashion. To access the Sketchnoting Icon Database, a laptop is also recommended.
