John Meng is Deputy Principal Special Project at Rooty Hill High School where he currently leads a school wide project “Evidence Informed Culture and Practice”. His research interests include Evidence Based Teaching, Short Cycle Learning Data Analysis, Learning Progress and Momentum Tracking, and STEM/Transdisciplinary Education.

John is a past president of Chinese Language Teachers Association and a past president of Mathematical Association of NSW. He is a textbook writer, web developer, R and MATLAB programmer, and after all a passionate teacher of mathematics in Western Sydney.

John enjoys travelling, golfing, thinking, reading, calculating and spending time with his young family.
