Kuala Lumpur is situated right in the middle of Asia and is an easy flight to many popular tourist destinations, making it the sixth most visited city in the world. Still hanging on to its British roots, it is an example of what is possible in modern Asia: it is a city of diverse cultures, incredible food and shopping while still being a low-cost destination. Kuala Lumpur is the cultural, financial and economic centre of Malaysia, is home to 47 International schools, and is a thriving education base for all of Malaysia.

Taxis are easy enough to get from the airport. Transport information can be found on each of the airport's websites.

There is a MRT Station nearby, but you still need to get to the school from the station.
Hotel Recommendations
One World Hotel is near the school 15 min drive and is attached to a large shopping mall. it is about 20 mins from downtown KL (without traffic) and an hour from the airport. We have had visitors to the school stay here and they were very happy.
Cititel is in Mid Valley, which is close to town, attached to another large shopping mall, but is further from school and traffic might be a problem. (this hotel is owned by the same company that owns the school) we may be able to get corporate rates.
The same goes for the Gardens at Mid Valley a bit more expensive and up market.
Dama Suites might be another option we have participants for another conference we are hosting staying here in the near future. This is also quite close to the school.
